Xavier Figuerola Monzonís is living proof that jazz music knows no boundaries of language or nationality. He is one of the hard-charging members of the saxophone section of the Barcelona Jazz Orchestra, with whom he has recorded with Jon Faddis, Phil Woods, and many others.

In addition, Xavier teaches woodwind instruments at the Catalonia College of Music in Barcelona, where he has an active studio of young players from throughout the region.

Also a gifted clarinetist, Xavier uses Bravo Reeds and Reed Boosters.
